For the young at heart, we have a well appointed games room adjacent to the main bar, with a pool table, Juke box and games machine. To the side of the pub there is a sheltered patio with seating and a boules piste. You can enjoy a game of boules at any time, as both boules and a copy of the rules!! are available on request at the bar. For the less energetic, why not while away a winters evening and enjoy a game of dominoes? In the local pub leagues the Royal Oak supports two pool teams, two dominoes teams and a clay pigeon team. New recruits are always welcome. The pub also hosts the regular meetings of the Dacre Banks Bowling club, Dacre Banks Cricket club, Nidderdale Angling club, and the Nidderdale Branch of the Royal British Legion.
